About

This is the first quarter of the classic circuit, walked as a standalone long weekend. You start in Les Houches, cross the Col du Bonhomme and the Col de la Seigne, and finish in Courmayeur on the Italian side.

Four days is enough to feel what a multi-day alpine hike actually is - carrying your own pack, sleeping in a refuge, walking above 2,500 metres - without needing to take two weeks off work.

We recommend it as a first trip. Plenty of our hikers do this route one summer and come back for the full circuit the next.
